The only mass vaccination site in Western Mass is not one of the sites being targeted for closure by the state.
Governor Charlie Baker said Monday the vaccination sites at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, the DoubleTree Hotel in Danvers and the Natick Mall are all shutting down next month.
The Eastfield Mall site in Springfield is one of the other three.
Also yesterday, Officials announced that new neighborhood vaccine clinics are opening at the J.C. Williams and Greenleaf Community Centers, the Greek Cultural Center, and the Raymond Jordan Senior Center.
