There will be NO massive Carvana facility in Southwick.
The residents had said it wasn't about the money -- it was about quality of life...preserving farmland and the environment. In the end,
Carvana officials have taken their proposal for a 200 thousand square foot facility off the table.
Specifically it has been withdrawn without prejudice leaving the door open legally for another version to be refiled.
Now, some residents are proposing a zone change to prohibit similar developments for the land which sits off the Route 202 corridor.
Meantime, the Chairman of the Planning Board says he his troubled by negative personal attacks some people have chosen to make on social media.
He is hoping everyone can come together for the good of the community.
