A heat advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. through eight p.m. todayin western Massachusetts.
The heat index is expected to reach between 95-and-99 degrees.
Forecasters also warn that it will be dangerously hot on Thursday with a heat index of about 105-degrees in eastern Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden counties.
There will be a continued chance for a thunderstorm.
But, forecasters say we may not see some relief until sometime on Saturday.
