One person is being charged for a shooting inside a bathroom at the Walmart in Hadley Sunday night.
The Northwestern District Attorney's Office says Wilmer Alvarez allegedly opened fire on two victims, ages 18 and 19, causing serious injuries which are being treated at Baystate Medical Center. Alvarez reportedly fled the store on Route 9 in a motor vehicle, but police caught up.
He is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on charges including armed assault with intent to murder and carrying an unlicensed gun.
Police nor Prosecutors have indicated a motive for the shooting.
