Trial Delayed In New Hampshire Impaired Driving Case

The West Springfield man accused of causing a crash that left seven people dead in New Hampshire will be waiting a bit longer to go on trial.

Jury selection in the Volodymyr Zhukovskyy case was supposed to start next week with his trial beginning November 29th.

However, those proceedings have been pushed back to March after Zhukovskyy's lawyers raised questions about an expert who was supposed to testify.

Prosecutors say Zhukovskyy was under the influence of drugs when he hit a group of motorcyclists with his vehicle in Randolph over two years ago.

He's facing several charges including negligent homicide and manslaughter.

The judge did not set a new date for trial.
