New Poll Has Governor Leading In Race For Re-Election

Governor Charlie Baker has a lead of more than 20-percent over the three announced Democratic candidates in next year's election according to a new UMass Amherst poll.

If Attorney General Maura Healey were to enter the race, she'd be the closest challenger trailing the incumbent by six-percent.

It's not yet known if Baker will seek a third term.

The Governor has done several fund raisers recently adding to the speculation.

The poll's margin of error is four-point-three percent.
