Pawn Shop Owner Charged With Fencing Stolen Items

A Springfield woman is facing federal charges for allegedly re-selling stolen goods on eBay.

The Justice Department says 48-year-old Mimi Mai obtained the items through a pawn shop she owned and operated in Holyoke.

Mai allegedly earned over two-million dollars from the improper sales.

She made an initial court appearance in Springfield on Tuesday afternoon following her arrest.

No other information has been released regarding the proceedings.
