Springfield Firefighters knocked down an early morning Wilmont Street fire which left one person dead and three other people homeless.
Flames broke out at about 3 this morning in a two family home at 63 Wilmont Street.
The Red Cross is helping the homeless.
The State Fire Marshal has joined in the investigation as well. There is no immediate cause.
