Clerk Of Court Seeks To Protect Evidence From Mold

More mold concerns are being expressed by people working at the Roderick Ireland Courthouse in Springfield.

Laura Gentile, the Hampden County Clerk of Courts, says mold has been discovered on evidence from old trials.

Gentile says the evidence needs to be preserved in case of an appeal.

She says she has asked the Massachusetts Trial Court to find a new location for the materials.

The State is considering options, in the process of hiring a consultant to determine whether it is better to build a new court house or rehab the current structure.
