A Springfield rap artist was reportedly killed in a shooting in the city this weekend.
David Carrasquillo, who goes by the performing name "Bossdawn", was the victim of the deadly shooting at the Saga VIP Lounge on Worthington Street Sunday night at around 10:30.
Springfield Mayor Dom Sarno says the club owner has agreed to turn in his license while the shooting is investigated.
The License Commission is also expected to conduct its own probe.
The murder is the fourth this year in the city of Springfield.
