Charlie Baker has ended the speculation that he will run for President.
Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker is set to be the next president of the NCAA .
It announced Baker is set to take over the position from current president Mark Emmert on March 1st.
Baker's second term as Massachusetts governor ends on January 5th.
The NCAA said Baker brings decades of experience spearheading transformations at high profile institutions in the private and public sectors.
Baker is a former collegiate athlete at Harvard.
