Omnibus Spending Bill Means Big Money To Local Projects

The just passed 1 point 7 trillion-dollar omnibus spending bill contains a ton of money in it for Western Mass projects.

More than 20 million dollars is coming to the area according to Congressman Richard Neal.

Nearly 3 million goes to Water Pollution projects in Chicopee.

A million dollars to Baypath University for an expansion of services.

Three million more goes to cyber security at Union Station.

The bill has been approved by Congress and now awaits the president’s signature.
