Congressman Neal Expected To Release Trump Tax Returns This Week

Former President Trump's tax returns will be released later this week.

Reports say the House Ways and Means Committee, led by Springfield Congressman Richard Neal, will release a redacted version of Trump's tax returns Friday morning.

The House panel last week voted to release six years of Trump's tax documents.

House Democrats gained access to the records as part of an investigation into whether the IRS audit of the former President was conducted properly.

The release of the documents will be the last act of Neal's Chairmanship in the House Ways and Means Committee. Republicans will control committees with the first of the year.
