Another tragic fatal fire in the state.
This time it happened in Springfield at 126 East Street.
Flames broke out right after 2:30 this morning at a single family home.
Two people and the family dog are dead,
Fire Department spokesman Drew Piomente says there is no cause. No firefighters were hurt.
It marks the second time a fatal fire has struck the state in a matter of days.
The other blaze was at a rooming house in New Bedford where two people lost their lives.
