Sale Back As Sox Beat Minnesota In 10

The Boston Red Sox scored three runs in the bottom of the tenth inning to beat the Minnesota Twins 5-4 at Fenway Park.

After Byron Buxton and Jose Miranda drove in a run apiece in the top of the frame to put Minnesota up by two, Reese McGuire tied things up with a two-run single in the bottom of the inning, and Alex Verdugo hit a walk-off single.

John Schreiber picked up the win out of the pen, while Chris Sale was brilliant in a no-decision, striking out 11 and allowing just one run in six frames. Sale told reporters after the game that he felt great and feels he is now back and ready to go.

Boston has won four of five.

Max Kepler had a solo home run in the losing effort, and Jovani Moran was charged with the loss.

The Twins are on a three-game losing streak. Same two teams tonight at Fenway.
