The town of West Springfield has completed repairs on a major water main break that happened on Tuesday.
The Department of Public Works is recommending residents in the area of Gooseberry Road who were without water should flush their lines.
A boil order remains in place, pending test results.
In the meantime, the West Springfield Police Department is warning people to be vigilant for water-testing scammers that have apparently been going door-to-door.
