Sox Lose- Head To New York For Weekend Series With Yankees

The Guardians cruised to a 10-3 victory in the rubber match of their series against the Red Sox.

Aaron Civale earned the win after striking out three batters and holding the Sox to two runs over five and two-thirds innings.

Jose Ramirez had a massive night at the plate going three for five with three home runs and five RBI.

Will Brennan also went deep for Cleveland, which is now second in the AL Central at 29-and-33.

Matt Dermody was tagged with the loss after allowing three runs on four hits over four innings pitched.

Triston Casas slugged his seventh homer of the year with a solo shot in the top of the sixth.

Boston is now last in the AL East at 31-and-32.

The Red Sox will play the Yankees for the first time tonight in New York.
