The counties of Western and Central Massachusetts are being included in flooding from July 9th through the 16th.
The declaration will enable farmers to apply for low-interest loans and to refinance existing loans.
The commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Ag Resources says it is estimated that 110 farms and 27-hundred acres have been impacted by the recent severe weather, generating losses of 15-million dollars.
Officials say that the damage estimates could grow higher.
