Two fires on Sunday have left 18 people homeless in Springfield.
The first blaze occurred just before 9 am at an apartment building on Edgeland Street, which displaced five residents.
Just a few hours later, crews were back in the same neighborhood for a fire on Coomes Street.
One person was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries; 13 people at that apartment complex were displaced.
The city's Arson and Bomb Squad are investigating the cause of both fires.
