An arrest has been made in connection with a fatal shooting in West Springfield on Wednesday.
Police were called to the 500 block of Riverdale Street at around 10:45 a.m, where they found a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
She later died at Baystate Medical Center.
Arrested was 37-year-old Roman Holguin of Springfield on a charge of murder.
He will be arraigned today in Springfield District Court, while the case remains under investigation.
