UMass Chancellor Reyes To Officially Take Office Today

UMass Amherst will celebrate the inauguration of its new chancellor today. Javier Reyes will be sworn in as the 31st leader of the college in a ceremony at the Mullins Center.

Governor Maura Healey will be among those in attendance and is expected to speak. Reyes took office in July of last year.

The day coincides with the 150th anniversary of the Alumni Association, UMass Founders Day, and the football Spring Game.

The ceremony takes place at 10:30 a.m.
