Primary Day In Massachusetts- Low Turnout Is Expected

It is Primary Day in Massachusetts with State Rep and Senate races on the line. Polls are open from 7AM to 8PM across the Commonwealth.

If you are in line at 8 you must be allowed to vote.

Secretary of the Commonwealth Bill Galvin is predicting a light turnout with just about 15 percent of the registered voters turning out.

And, if you are planning to do a ballot selfie, DON’T.

It is illegal in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In Connecticut, you could, since there is no law one way or the other on the issue.

Scammers are also looking to take advantage of you this Primary Day.

The State DOES NOT send you a notification that you haven't registered, or haven't voted yet. Ignore it. Don't click on it. Just report it.
