Another new scam in the state.
This time police throughout the state say residents are getting emails and texts from scammers saying that they likely have a picture of your neighborhood or your house and unless you send them crypto currency or cash, they will publish your name and address with what they say is a compromising picture.
It is a scam.
If you get such a message, report it to police immediately.
Police throughout parts of the state are reporting that some people have already been taken advantage of.
