The anniversary of more than 23K Union casualties in war to end slavery.

July first through the third is the anniversary of a decisive battle to end slavery in the USA. The Battle of Gettysburg in 1863 was a Union victory in the Civil War. The war to end slavery and reunite the state would go on for almost two more years, but Gettysburg proved the south could not win. The Union suffered more than 23,000 casualties in three days, but the south had over 28,000. The sacrifices of the men who fought to end slavery are virtually ignored in the age of "woke" ideology and critical race theory. Click the podcast below for more.
