There's an update to the planned one-day strike for unionized nurses at Baystate Franklin Medical Center.
Baystate Health announced yesterday it plans to lock out the nurses for three total days, and also will ask the National Labor Relations Board to declare the strike illegal.
Two-hundred registered nurses at the hospital are represented by the Massachusetts Nurses Association.
Baystate says temporary nurses will be brought in for the lockout, which is expected to begin Sunday night.
