Connecticut Still In Budget Crisis

Governor Dan Malloy is urging  legislative leaders to bring a short term budget to a vote before the  new fiscal year begins on Saturday.

Malloy is proposing that lawmakers  pass a 90 day budget to allow them to work towards a long term  agreement.

If lawmakers fail to pass the short term budget, Malloy is  promising massive cuts if he is forced to run state government by  executive order.
