Kavanaugh Conflict Was Tough But Needed

The US has survived the constitutional conflict and a lot of people, Republican and Democrat, male and female, young and old are asking the same thing.

What long term effect will this have and was it a bad thing?

Lost in the emotional debate that the talking heads have bestowed us with is the answer that has been ignored.

That the US stopped for three weeks…

That the US Senate dropped everything they were doing….

That the world stopped to watch the conflict….

It is all good,

People yelled.

They protested.

They got angry.

And I may be the only person on the face of the earth who thinks it was good and we need more.

You see we all whine and complain about how complacent the country is.

We complain that no one cares.

That voters don’t vote.

And, for this one moment in time, people, no matter who they are cared enough to protest and care and express their feelings.

Everyone had an opinion, many times whether you wanted to hear it or not.

And, although that is not what you would expect from a Supreme Court appointment, that is what we got.

And, although we don’t know it yet…

That it happened...and we are all still here makes us stronger.
