The Chicopee Police Department provided an update on Monday on the search for a missing boy thought to have fallen through ice.
Crews were back at the Chicopee River on Monday but cleared the scene due to hazardous weather conditions, according to the police department.
The ten-year-old was reportedly playing with a cousin on Saturday when the incident happened. The older boy died on Sunday, according to the Hampden District Attorney's Office.
