National Weather Service Says Heavy Rains Will Swell Rivers

All of Western Massachusetts is under a Flood Watch from the National Weather Service from tonight through tomorrow night.

Forecasters say widespread heavy rain with embedded heavier showers is expected to develop and drop one to two inches of rain, causing urban and poor drainage flooding.

The weather service adds that the forecasted rain will worsen flooding along the Connecticut River.

We could see a shower for Easter Sunday with another chance for showers on Monday.
