The cause of a motorcycle crash that closed part of I-91 north in Holyoke for a couple of hours this morning is under investigation. State Police say a woman who was apparently a passenger on the motorcycle was critically injured and taken to Baystate Medical Center. The man operating the bike was hospitalized for evaluation. The woman driving the other vehicle involved in the crash was not hurt.
State Police had originally reported that it was a fatal crash. But that information was released in error.
