Crowded Ballot Shaping Up For Next Year

Voters could face a boatload of referendums on the next statewide ballot next year.

The State Attorney General approved a dozen ballot questions and rejected four others Wednesday.

More signatures by question proponents are needed.

Among the issues moving forward, constitutional amendments that mandate that public funding for abortions are not required.

Another that returns voting rights to incarcerated felons.

The AG rejecting among others a measure that would put the top two finishers in a primary on the ballot regardless of party affiliation.
