Carter Freed On Good Behavior In Texting Suicide Case

Michelle Carter has been released from prison after serving eleven months for urging her boyfriend by text to kill himself.

Carter was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of 18-year-old Conrad Roy in 2014.

Carter walked out of the jail wearing the same clothes she wore to booking nearly a year ago.

She was driven away from the Bristol County House of Correction in Dartmouth by her mother with a law enforcement escort.
