Judge Drops Charges Against A Springfield Police Sargent

More charges are dropped in the so-called Nathan Bill's case in Springfield.

A Superior Court judge dropped all charges against retired Springfield police sergeant Louis Bortolussi on Tuesday.

Bortolussi was among a group of current and former officers alleged to have involvement in a 2015 fight with a group of civilians and a subsequent cover-up; he had been charged with perjury, misleading investigators and filing a false police report.

Charges have already been dropped against one other former Springfield policeman in the case.
