UMass To Adjust Fees Following Closures

The University of Massachusetts is going to adjust student room, board and parking fees following the closure of residence halls.

The administration says the financial impact of the coronavirus crisis is a real hardship for students and their families.

In a statement, UMass President Marty Meehan and the chancellors of the Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth and Lowell campuses, say they hope the adjustment of fees will help ease some of the stress students and their families are feeling.
