Weather Alerts Remain As Temps Soar For Another Day

The National Weather Service has the Pioneer Valley in another Heat Advisory for Tuesday. The combined heat and humidity will make it feel like as high as 95 degrees. Another hot day means another round of local early school dismissals today. Those include Springfield, Holyoke, Monson and Westfield among

The heat wave is one thing but it has also triggered a set of ozone alerts.

Officials at the State Department of Environmental Protection say those who are very young or who are older are most at risk. In addition those with espiratory issues like asthma, lung disease - and children - should be careful not to exert themselves outside in the areas affected.

Today and tomorrow are expected to remain issues with heat and air quality. But things are expected to get better by the end of the week.
