Massachusetts Congresswoman Katherine Clark accuses Republicans of holding up agreement on raising the nation's debt ceiling.

The House Minority Whip says GOP leaders want the American people to face the impossible choice of devastating social service cuts or a devastating default.

The U.S. Treasury has warned that without a deal by June first, the country could default on its debts.

Meantime, talks are continuing with some question as to how much real progress is being made.
