Lucic Signs Try Out Contract With Thunderbirds

A former Boston Bruins star is now playing for Springfield.

The Thunderbirds announced a professional tryout contract yesterday with Milan Lucic.

The 37-year-old spent nine seasons as a Bruin across two stints, including the Stanley Cup team in 2011.

He played in four games during the preseason with the St. Louis Blues, the T-Birds' NHL affiliate.
