Chicopee Police say a 27 year old Police Officer has been arrested on rape and kidnapping charges in connection with an off duty incident.
Corey Fournier was arrested Monday night.
Police Spokesman Mike Wilk says the alleged victim and the officer apparently knew each other.
The alleged incident happening in Ayer.
Fournier has been with the department for almost three years.
He is now on administrative leave without pay.
The Worcester County DA has yet to comment.
