Eight people are facing charges for two separate incidents near or on the property of a school in Holyoke on Monday.
Police say two Holyoke residents and an individual from Springfield were arrested for an illegal drug operation in an apartment right across the street from Morgan Elementary School.
Authorities reportedly seized a handgun, heroin, cocaine and cash.
Five more people, all Holyoke residents, were arrested for trespassing and cocaine trafficking after police say they were riding ATVs on the property of Sullivan Elementary School.
All the arraignments are set for later today in Holyoke District Court.
