The West Springfield Police Department is reaching out to the public about recently-purchased sick Labrador or German Shepherd puppies who were purchased in town.
The puppies were allegedly sold in a parking lot on Riverdale Street, according to West Springfield Animal Control.
Many of the young dogs have already died.
Officials say some of the puppies had Parvo.
