(24/7 News- WHYN Radio) --North Korean state media acknowledging that President Trump has accepted an invitation to visit Pyongyang when the time is right. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un extended the invite during their historic summit in Singapore.
There's no indication when such a trip could take place.
Earlier, Trump said Kim accepted his invitation to visit the White House at some point in the future.
North Korea's media also reported that both Kim and Trump shared the goal of a phased plan for peace.
Meantime, US Senator Ed Markey on the floor of the Senate says that there are enough holes in the agreement to shoot a nuclear missile through.
Connecticut Junior Senator Chris Murphey says that the negotiations exposed the President for his weakness on the issue.
And, Springfield Congressman Richard Neal says although it was good the two leaders were talking, for The President to call the North Korean leader good and caring ignores history.
