A Chicopee woman is home after first getting to meet Patriots star Rob Gronkowski in the hospital, then getting a heart and kidney transplant.
Twenty-seven-year-old Lauren Meizo spent months at a Boston hospital waiting for a donor, and received the transplant in May.
She has a rare form of muscular dystrophy, and this surgery was her second heart transplant.
Meizo got a police escort from State and local police.
She appears to be doing well and is getting stronger every day.
