Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren says she saw a disturbing picture during a tour of a Texas immigration processing facility.
Warren was part of a congressional delegation that visited the facility in McAllen, Texas on Saturday.
Afterwards, Warren was frustrated by the treatment of people inside the facility.
Warren says she saw children by themselves and mothers with babies, all in cages on concrete floors.
In a speaking engagement in Nevada afterwards the state's Senior Senator told people that the "Trump Administration is trying to inflict as much punishment as they can on people coming to the United States."
She says that the President has "shrugged off" the problem of reuniting thousands of kids who have been separated from their parents.
