Renovations to a park in Springfield's North End are being celebrated.
A ceremony held on Saturday at Jaime Ulloa Park was attended by Congressman Richard Neal, Mayor Domenic Sarno and others elected officials.
Ulloa a noted civic leader for years.
The 500-thousand-dollar renovation included a redesigned park entrance and upgrades to playground equipment and walkways.
The Park is located at the corner of Morgan and Osgood Streets in the North End of Springfield.
