The woman shot dead during the incident where a Weymouth police officer was killed is identified as 77-year-old Vera Adams.
She was identified yesterday by family members as the person shot and killed in her Torrey Street home on Sunday.
Adams was a widow for over two decades, and had no children.
Police say she was having coffee in her home Sunday when she was shot and killed.
Meantime, Emanuel Lopes will be arraigned today on murder charges....that as details are emerging about the attack that killed Weymouth police officer Michael Chesna.
Police say suspect Emanuel Lopes shot Chesna around ten times with the officer's own gun.
Lopes allegedly hit the officer in the head with a rock, then grabbed his service revolver and opened fire.
