Police are searching for a Springfield man who allegedly tried to run down officers in Wilbraham.
Authorities say 44 year old Jose Ramirez tried to mow down two officers who tried to stop him on Thursday after an assistant prosecutor from the Hampden District Attorney's Office saw bottles of alcohol being thrown from his vehicle, believed to be a blue Honda van.
Reports indicate the officers were narrowly missed.
