There is another move afoot to see if the state legislature will endorse a measure to go to a discounted tolling system in Massachusetts.
In the final hours of the legislative session Tuesday, lawmakers rejected Governor Charlie Baker's call for a broad study on traffic congestion.
Lawmakers also reaffirmed support for a pilot program that would provide discounts to commuters who travel during off peak hours.
Now, Governor Baker must decide to reject the plan again or move forward with a proposal he has already opposed.
