The inadvertent statewide ban on horse racing in Massachusetts in now over.
And state lawmakers worked at a speed that some would say they never worked before.
Governor Charlie Baker yesterday signed a bill that was quickly passed by the legislature to end the accidental ban.
Lawmakers failed to pass a bill extending horse racing in the state before the legislative session ended this week.
The lack of action caused the temporary suspension of racing at Suffolk Downs, Raynham Park as well as Plainridge Park.
