A 19-year-old from Pittsfield is under arrest for a shooting that left another 19-year-old from Berkshire County in critical condition.
The Berkshire District Attorney's Office says Kevin Nieves was picked up on Tuesday afternoon on charges of armed assault with intent to murder, illegal firearm possession and kidnapping.
Nieves is accused of shooting an individual from Cheshire in October Mountain State Park in Washington earlier yesterday.
The victim was reportedly taken to Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield for surgery.
