A couple of Springfield officials are moving up the leadership ladder.
The city announced over the weekend that Denise Jordan, the longtime chief of staff to Mayor Domenic Sarno, has received state approval to lead the Springfield Housing Authority.
She was originally selected to the position in May.
Filling her old role is City Council member Thomas Ashe, who Sarno says will hit the ground running as chief of staff due to his time on the council and the city's school committee.
